It isn't often that we create new accounts for users in 2024. Feel free to forward this on to Leslie Janes to respond to these tickets.


Reasons that administrators would create new accounts vs. Program Directors or Coaches sending invitations for new accounts might be:

1. a DCYF staff member is requesting an account

2. A Coach Lead is hired as a supervisor to coaches and they need an account (Coach Leads send invitations to new coaches)

3. A Cultivate Learning staff member needs an account


If a request from a DCYF or Cultivate Learning staff comes in to set up a new account, we go ahead and create the account. To do this, in the Admin tab, click Manage Users and Create A New User 


Fill in the Email address, first name and last name. Set the password to be CECI 2024* and select the role that you want the user to have (if a DCYF or Cultivate staff, it is probably a Coach Lead role unless they have other requests) and Create User.


Hi (first name of requester),


Respond to the ticket with: I have created a new account for (name of person the account is for).

To log in, go to the website https://wa-ceci.org

Enter your Username: (enter email address of new account)

Password: CECI2024*

If a request comes in requesting a new account, respond to the ticket by asking:


Hi (the requester's first name),

Can you explain your role to me and what program you work for? 

Typically, Program Directors invite Coachees/teachers/providers to create accounts and Coach Leads invite coaches to create accounts. If your role is outside of either of these scenarios, please give us a little more information so that we can help direct you to the right person to set up your account or help create the account for you.

Based on the response, we respond in several ways:

If they are just looking for the 'how to' around sending invitations, we can send them this tip sheets on Adding Users to CECI: https://wa-ceci.org/help/adding-users-to-your-default-group


If they are outside of those two options listed in the email, discuss the ticket with Leslie, DeEtta, Dawn or Juliet to help determine if we should create the account.


Once the new account is created or the user has determined that they can send the invite themselves, change the ticket to RESOLVED and tag it with New CECI Account
