Responding to CECI error message: The difference between the request time and the current time is too large
MacOS:
- Go to Settings
- Date & Time
- Check the box “Set date and time automatically:”
- If available, choose the time zone in drop-down

If the Mac is managed by an organization, these options may be greyed out.
In that case, if the time is still incorrect, the user should contact their IT department.
Windows:
- Go to Settings (Windows + I)
- Time & language
- If there is a toggle for “Set time automatically”, set that to “On”.
- If not, try the ‘Sync Now” button in “Additional settings”.

If the computer is managed by the user’s org, some of these options may be greyed out; and if they are still incorrect, the user should contact their IT department.
